Assistant Studio Manager

Boutique Pilates Studio | Santa Maria, CA
Pay: $19–$22/hour + commission & bonus potential
Schedule: 20-30 hours/week | Flexible | Possible Weekends as needed

Ritual Reform is a modern, community-driven Pilates studio redefining the reformer experience. We’re known for our elevated client experience, strong team culture, and results-driven workouts. Our Santa Maria studio is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) to support daily operations, drive membership growth, and help lead our team with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.

The Role

The Assistant Studio Manager is a key leadership position responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience, supporting studio sales and operations, and serving as the General Manager’s right hand for our Santa Maria location. You’ll help with front desk and sales process, support team development, and ensure the studio runs smoothly day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth

  • Support membership sales through lead follow-up, phone/text/email communication, and in-studio conversions

  • Assist with managing the sales pipeline and studio sales metrics

  • Contribute to marketing and community engagement initiatives, including events, referral programs, and promotions

  • Help grow and maintain a strong, loyal member base

Studio Operations

  • Serve as the Studio Manager’s go-to support for daily task delegation, staff communication, and studio flow

  • Ensure compliance with studio policies, safety standards, and brand expectations

  • Assist with staff scheduling, organization, and studio presentation

  • Help plan and execute challenges, events, and client celebrations

  • Address member questions or concerns with professionalism; escalate when appropriate

Team & Culture

  • Support our management team and studio-specific onboarding

  • Provide direction, motivation, and positive leadership to help the team meet and exceed goals

  • Help foster a fun, inclusive, and community-focused studio culture

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a supervisory, retail, hospitality, fitness, or client-facing role

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and communicating with clients via phone, text, email, and in person

  • Sales-minded with a warm, welcoming approach

  • Passion for health, wellness, and fitness (Pilates experience a plus, but not required)

  • Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented

  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Requirements

  • Availability to work 20 - 30 hours per week

  • CPR & First Aid certification preferred

  • Ability to be on your feet and actively engaged throughout shifts

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
