Pilates x Strength training x High-energy group fitness.

Ritual Reform Pilates studio is a 50-minute high-energy, total body group workout on our custom XFormer® machines.

Our class sizes are small, which means you get personalized attention during each Pilates class. We promise it will leave you stronger, leaner, more energized, and excited for more!

Our machines are the cornerstone

Ritual Reform offers a 50-minute, high-intensity, low-impact workout on our custom-designed reformers. Our full-body method is loosely rooted in Pilates, supercharged with strength training and cardio for a truly transformative experience.

This isn’t like any workout you’ve done before. You will sweat, your muscles will shake, and your entire body will feel the workout. Our XFormer machines are the most efficient, all-in-one training tools you've ever moved on.

Why our members love it

The Ritual Reform Method works by working slow-twitch muscle fibers to fatigue. Slow-twitch muscle fibers are built for endurance and resist fatigue, making them ideal for prolonged activities. By gradually increasing resistance on our custom reformer, these muscles are progressively strengthened over time.

Each strength-training exercise is crafted to deliver twice the effectiveness of traditional workouts. This innovative approach helps develop long, lean, and sculpted muscles while enhancing both physical and mental strength.

100 classes ago, I left my first class at Ritual Reform Pilates convinced I'd wasted my money on the intro package because it was so hard. After COVID, a foot surgery, and a long break from fitness, I wasn't sure I belonged there.

Thankfully, I decided to give it one more try. What started as a challenge quickly became something I looked forward to, thanks to incredible instructors, supportive private sessions, and a community that always made me feel welcome.

Along the way, I faced another foot surgery and worried it would derail all the progress I'd made. Instead, the Ritual team helped me stay on track, and Pilates became such an important part of my recovery that my doctor was amazed by how quickly I was healing.

Today, I'm celebrating my 100th class. I'm still learning, still improving, and sometimes still a little awkward, but I'm stronger, healthier, and more confident than I was a year ago. The results are real, but what I'm most grateful for is finding a place and a community that keeps me coming back. Here's to the first 100 classes and many more to come!

I went to my first class over a year ago with my wife for her birthday and I’ve been hooked ever since! I’m currently at over 100 classes taken and I’ve never felt better. I was a professional tree climber for over 15 years and now I operate heavy equipment for a living. I’m an avid hunter and surfer and what Ritual Reform has provided for me is the strength and balance to continue to excel at and enjoy what I love. The atmosphere, energy and instructors are all amazing and if you’d asked me a year ago if I’d be taking 3+ Pilates classes a week I would’ve laughed but it’s the most challenging workout I’ve ever done.

Where do I start? This studio is intimate, clean, and the staff is great! I began my Pilates journey 39 classes ago and it has become an addiction. Not only is it helping me with my back pain and weight, it’s helped me mentally. There are certain exercises that I would tell myself “I could never” and then I see myself take a progression and I become ecstatic. I 100000% recommend.

What makes Ritual Reform different from classical Pilates?

“I just finished my third week and I am hooked. I love the variety of instructors so it never feels repetitive. The day after each class, a different part of my body is sore. It is a great size, only 9 machines, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. The room is kept dim which I also love. I had been wanting to try for months, probably closer to years at this point, and I'm so glad I finally did. I recommend taking the Intro class first to really get your bearings on the machine.”

Meet owner Sarah Whitmore Boe

The Central Coast native talks about why she decided to bring Ritual to the region. “It was the missing piece of the puzzle for SLO County fitness. I knew if I loved it this much, so many others would too,” she says.
