Lasting change comes from strengthening both the body and the mind.
Meet Sarah
About the Founder
Ritual Reform was founded by Sarah Whitmore Boe, a Central Coast native, mother, and longtime wellness professional whose work has always lived at the intersection of strength, resilience, and lasting change.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is a proud Cal Poly alum. For over a decade, she worked in residential treatment centers as an addiction specialist and Clinical Director, guiding individuals through the earliest, and hardest days of recovery. More recently, she spent several years in private practice supporting high-performing professionals navigating stress, burnout, and high-functioning addiction. Across every chapter of her career, one truth remained constant: meaningful change requires both mental and physical resilience.
In 2023, Sarah founded Ritual Reform with the opening of its first studio in Templeton, California bringing a long-missing piece of the fitness landscape to the Central Coast. She had experienced firsthand the life-changing power of high-intensity XFormer Pilates elsewhere and believed the region deserved a practice that was just as challenging as it was intentional.
Ritual Reform was built on a simple but powerful belief: lasting change comes from strengthening both the body and the mind. The method is designed to help clients meet their edge physically, mentally, and emotionally so they can move it.
Sarah’s personal journey deeply informs the brand. Her own journey to sobriety taught her how to stay present through discomfort, how to build strength one deliberate choice at a time, and how sustainable transformation happens through consistency. That same approach defines Ritual Reform today: a place to show up, tune in, and do something meaningful just for yourself.
As a hands-on founder and visionary, Sarah remains deeply involved in shaping the Ritual Reform method, culture, and community as the brand continues to grow across the Central Coast and beyond. Her work is rooted in advocacy for recovery, mental health, and practices that support people not just for a season, but for life.
Ritual Reform isn’t about chasing extremes. It’s about building strength you can return to again and again.
We invite you to take a class and experience it for yourself.
